As a freelance writer in the Midwest, I write for magazines and newspapers such as Long Weekends Magazine, QC Magazine, and Ohio Magazine. I also conduct research and analysis for marketing research firms.

My recent projects include an article on Lincoln's New Salem historic site for A Simple Life magazine, research and analysis for StrategyOne on technology’s effect on social behavior, and an essay about my great-great-great grandmother published in the Wapsipinicon Almanac

I received my Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Illinois and went on to serve as the Writer/Electronic Media Specialist for the Harvard College Library at Harvard University.  I then earned my Master of Fine Arts in creative writing from Indiana University.

My passions include writing about the arts, spirituality, travel, and the Midwest.
